About Organisation

Both ILÊ and WASI mean "home"—the former in Yoruba, and the latter in Quechua—reflecting the desire for ILÊWASI to be a true home for children and adolescents where rights are not only respected and fulfilled, but where we also work toward their greater implementation worldwide. Guided by a people-centered approach, we create a teamwork-oriented atmosphere where everyone can find their place and share a sense of family, while our intercultural approach grants us the opportunity to expand our horizons. Furthermore, a culture of peace serves as the foundation for all our actions, and being deeply committed to education, we work through international cooperation to ensure that the rights of children and adolescents in Castellón and other countries become real and effective.

Our Goal

The promotion and defense of children and adolescents' rights constitute the core axis of our activities. We work through "peer-to-peer" alliances, striving to find synergies and exchange knowledge with other operators who share our same values and goals. Although we are a small-scale association, our aim is to forge partnerships and foster networking to generate a greater impact.
