- Who can use the VolunTECH platform?
Registered NGOs, youth associations, foundations, and other non-profit organisations that offer meaningful and ethical volunteering opportunities can use the platform.
- Is there a cost to use the platform?
No. Access to the VolunTECH platform is free for participating organisations.
- How do we receive volunteer applications?
When a volunteer requests to join an opportunity, your organisation receives their details via email or through the platform notifications.
- Do we select and manage volunteers ourselves?
Yes. Organisations are responsible for reviewing applications, selecting volunteers, and agreeing on tasks, timelines, and expectations directly with them.
- Can we post more than one volunteering opportunity?
Yes. Organisations can publish and manage multiple volunteering opportunities at the same time.
- Are opportunities moderated before publication?
Depending on the platform’s moderation policy, opportunities may be reviewed to ensure they meet basic quality and ethical standards before being published.
- Do we need to provide training or certification to volunteers?
Providing training is encouraged but not mandatory. VolunTECH also offers optional training and certification resources that volunteers can access independently.
