- Can I change my email address after registration?
Yes, go to your Profile Settings and update your email address. You'll need to verify the new email before the change takes effect.
- Why can't I log in to my account?
Common issues include: unverified email address, incorrect password, or account suspension. Try resetting your password or contact support if the problem persists.
Applying for Volunteering Opportunities
- How do I find volunteering opportunities?
Use our search filters to find opportunities by location, cause, time commitment, or skills required. You can also browse featured opportunities on the homepage.
- What information do I need to apply?
Most applications require basic contact information, availability, relevant skills or experience, and motivation for volunteering.
- How long does the application process take?
Organizations typically respond within 5-7 business days. You'll receive email notifications about your application status.
- Can I apply for multiple opportunities at once?
Yes, you can apply for multiple positions. Each application is handled separately by the respective organizations.
- What if I need to withdraw my application?
You can withdraw applications through your dashboard or contact the organization directly.
Posting Opportunities (for NGOs)
- How do I post a volunteering opportunity?
Log in to your organization account, go to "Post Opportunity," and fill in all required fields including description, requirements, time commitment, and location.
- How much does it cost to post opportunities?
Basic postings are free. Premium features like highlighted listings or extended visibility may have associated costs.
- Can I edit my posted opportunities?
Yes, you can edit your postings at any time through your organization dashboard.
- How do I manage applications?
Access your dashboard to view, sort, and respond to applications. You can communicate directly with applicants through our messaging system.
- My posting isn't appearing in search results. Why?
Ensure all required fields are completed and your posting follows our community guidelines. It may take up to 24 hours for new postings to appear in search results.
Training and Certification
- What training resources are available?
We offer online modules covering volunteer best practices, safety protocols, and skill-specific training depending on your area of interest.
- Do I receive certificates for completed training?
Yes, digital certificates are issued upon successful completion of training modules and can be downloaded from your profile.
- Is training mandatory for all volunteers?
Basic safety and orientation training is required for all volunteers. Additional training may be required based on specific role requirements.
- How long do certifications last?
Most certifications are valid for 2 years, after which refresher training is recommended.
Data Protection and Privacy
- How is my personal information protected?
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures. Your data is only shared with organizations you apply to volunteer with, and only the information necessary for the application process.
- Can I control what information organizations see?
Yes, you can customize your privacy settings to control which profile information is visible to organizations.
- How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Account Settings and select "Delete Account." This will permanently remove your profile and all associated data within 30 days.
- Do you share my information with third parties?
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
- How can I download my data?
Request a copy of your data through your Account Settings. We'll provide a complete export within 7 business days.
