Description

The internet is full of “opportunities”. Most of them are misaligned noise, when analyzed closer about what they actually demand in exchange of what they offer. We want someone who can find the few that actually matter.

SET & SETTING is a deliberately multidisciplinary foundation working across real culture, alternative youth, health, education, human rights, sustainability, social innovation, art and entrepreneurship.

We are looking for a sharp researcher to help us discover international opportunities worth acting on: grants, programmes, partnerships, residencies, events, networks, commissioning organisations, buyers, funders and unconventional routes to resources.

This is not about collecting links.

It is about answering:

Why does this fit us? What could come from it? Who makes the decision? What is the route in? Is it worth our time now?

Your research will be tested against reality quickly. Good findings become applications, outreach, conversations and partnerships.

Research international opportunities relevant to SET & SETTING and its projects.

Look across funding, culture, youth, social innovation, business, health, sustainability and international cooperation.

Identify the actual organisation, programme, decision-maker, deadline and route of access.

Explain why each opportunity fits, rather than simply sending a link.

Deliver research in small, usable batches — ideally 3–5 strong findings every few days.

We do not want 200 random opportunities after three weeks.

We test your findings quickly, tell you what happened, and use that information to make the next research cycle smarter.

You will see what happens after research leaves the spreadsheet and work with one of the most desirable emerging international founders in Central Europe.

You will work directly with the founder and learn how opportunities are qualified, rejected, pursued and converted into action.

You will also gain exposure to an unusually multidisciplinary organisation rather than researching the same narrow sector every week.

Flexible remote work, substantial independence, meaningful portfolio experience and a professional reference for strong collaboration.
