Description

We have the projects. Now we want to put serious resources behind them.

SET & SETTING is a deliberately multidisciplinary foundation started in Poland and working internationally. We build across real culture, alternative youth, health, education, human rights, sustainability, social innovation, art and entrepreneurship. We do not fit neatly into one sector — and that is intentional.

We have already delivered funded work, developed a strong youth initiative, built cultural and creative projects, and piloted a socially driven consumer product with the public.

Now the challenge is different: finding the people, institutions, companies and sources of capital that genuinely belong around this work — and turning good possibilities into real conversations, partnerships, funding and paid opportunities.

You will work directly with the founder. This is not theoretical fundraising and it is not about producing enormous lists of random contacts. We want someone who can look at an opportunity and ask:

Who actually fits? Who controls the resource? What can we offer each other? What is the strongest route in? What would make them say yes?

We work fast. Research should become usable intelligence, intelligence should become action, and action should teach us what to do next.

Research and qualify funders, sponsors, strategic partners, commissioning organisations, corporate partners and other serious routes to resources.

Identify opportunities across Europe and internationally — including less obvious routes that generic funding databases miss.

Assess fit, decision-makers, incentives, value exchange and route of access, not simply whether an organisation appears relevant.

Help develop approaches, partnership propositions and materials for promising opportunities.

Support movement from research → contact → conversation → proposal → deal or partnership.

Work in small, usable cycles. We prefer several strong findings every few days over a giant spreadsheet after three weeks. We test opportunities against reality quickly, share what happened, and use that evidence to improve the next round.

Maintain clear records of prospects, conversations, decisions and next steps.

Extra Benefitss

Direct access to a desirable and influential work partner and real decisions. You will work with the founder rather than disappearing into several layers of management.

The work crosses nonprofit, cultural, commercial and entrepreneurial territory, giving you exposure to fundraising, partnerships, business development and international strategy at the same time.

Your research will not sit untouched in a folder. Strong opportunities will be tested in the real world.

Flexible remote collaboration, substantial autonomy, meaningful work you can point to afterwards, and a strong professional reference for successful collaboration.

And because SET & SETTING is genuinely multidisciplinary, you will encounter projects and people that rarely appear together inside one conventional organisation.
